DUBAILAND™,
the region’s largest tourism, leisure, entertainment
and lifestyle destination and a member of Tatweer, organised
a business partners marketing forum to brief investors about
its overall Destination Marketing Plans.
The meeting was held on 28 June - 2007, at the Dusit Dubai
Hotel, and was a high-profile gathering of business partners
Marketing Heads and major stakeholders at which DUBAILAND™
updated those attending on the progress of the project.
The Gathering also allowed investors to meet and talk with
members of the DUBAILAND™ senior team, especially the marketing
Heads teams and stuff.
Mohammed Al Habbai, CEO of DUBAILAND™, said: “Dubai’s
success is directly attributed to the resourceful response
of its private sector to opportunities and potentials created
by the government. This has resulted in a unique government-private
sector partnership model. We too wish to build a similar
relationship with our partners to create a community that
will match the world’s best.
“Together,
we will tackle crucial business issues, solve problems,
speed up the processes and get feedback on where we need
to improve on our service delivery.”
Ahmed Tajedeen, Director-Marketing, DUBAILAND™, said: “Communication
and follow-up initiatives are the key factors for success.
We have embraced this principle and have begun to formalise
the Business Partners Marketing Forum into a regular event
to get to know each other.”
Since inception, DUBAILAND™ has been working closely with
investors and other partners on an informal basis.
“The objective of this gathering in its broader perspective
is to drive marketing synergy across all partners Marketing
teams and plans to ensure we are working towards a common
goal, vision and timeline of December 2010,” said
Tajedeen.
The
Marketing gathering helped in creating a close-knit team,
which can market DUBAILAND™ as a ‘Destination of the
Future’ to the benefit of the management, investors
and visitors.
